The secret to its performance lies in its Ambient Light Rejecting (ALR) technical screen. Thanks to a sophisticated micro-prismatic structure, the screen’s surface actively filters light from the ceiling and sides, reflecting only the light from the projector positioned directly below back towards the audience.
With a Gain of 1.8, this projection surface acts as a true light amplifier. It is capable of producing an image that is almost twice as bright as a standard reference screen. This model offers a 120° beam angle, a balance carefully engineered by our engineers to concentrate the light energy towards the main seating area. By slightly narrowing the reflection cone compared to a matt screen, we are able to minimise unwanted reflections off the side walls and ceiling, thereby preserving the native contrast of your setup.
Beyond its optical prowess, this screen is certified for 4K and 8K UHD content, ensuring surgical sharpness without any moiré or hot-spot effects. Its cable-based lateral tension mechanism keeps the surface perfectly flat – an essential requirement for ultra-short-throw projection, where even the slightest ripple would distort the image.
